Toasted "1935" Chipolata Sandwich Topped with Bacon and Cheese

Serves: 4

400g “1935” Chipolata sausage
8 slices of bread
4 slices of cheddar cheese
15g butter



  1. Prick the sausages, add a small amount of oil to the pan and heat. Once hot, add the sausages and fry until browned. Alternatively, place in a preheated at 180C and cook for 20 minutes.
  2. Place 3 sausages between two slices of bread. Butter the outside edges and fry until crisp.
  3. Top with a slice of cheese and leave until melted.
  4. Repeat with other sandwiches then serve.
