This traditional smoked sweetcure back bacon is based on the recipe handed down through 8 generations of the Woodall family. We take quality British pork backs, hand rub them with our Cumbrian sweetcure, smoke them over oak and finally air-dry for a minimum of 10 days. Our bacon loses up to 20% in weight during the drying process, which means no white bits or shrinking when it is cooked up, and a mature flavour.
All pork used by Woodall's is selectively sourced and butchered using only British Outdoor Bred pigs.

Ingredients: Pork, Demerara Sugar, Salt, Sugar, Preservatives (Sodium Nitrite, Sodium Nitrate), Antioxidant (Sodium Ascorbate). Produced using 105g raw pork per 100g of finished product.
